Lean and ISO 9001:2008 Standards
The Lean and ISO 9001:2008 standards studied every aspect of our business — from our first contact with a client to loading labels on the dock for delivery. Using empirical methods, the data helped us reset our process to achieve our goals. It challenged us to analyze accepted ideas, explore new processes and technologies. The initiative’s result is increased efficiency and decreased waste — which translates into minimizing costs and heightening quality for our clients.
Be Confident—Gallas is now ISO 9001:2015 Certified
There’s nothing like international certification to foster trust and respect. In 2013, Gallas became the only label printer in Chicago to be awarded ISO 9001:2008 certification. In 2018 Gallas achieved their certification renewal to the ISO 9001:2015 standards. This means our clients can feel confident in the safety, reliability and quality of our custom products and that they meet the highest international quality standards. Plus, we’re committed to ongoing improvement. One example of this commitment is our acquisition of SensoTec auto registration technology in 2015. This advancement ensures 100% perfect registration for our labels, faster turnaround times and less waste; making it one of the most powerful lean manufacturing tools in the printing industry.
